Guernsey in top 5 for a place to live and work - HSBC Expat Explorer survey 2021

We are thrilled that Guernsey has placed in the top 5 places to live and work in the HSBC Expat Explorer survey 2021.

The survey is managed by HSBC Expat, which is headquartered in the Channel Islands, and is completed by thousands of people living and working abroad to share their experiences of what expat life is like.

The survey results showed that globally almost two thirds (65%) of people living abroad feel optimistic about the year ahead despite a significant year of change.

The report also highlighted that two thirds of expats report a better quality of life since relocating. We feel our position in the survey is a true testament to the fantastic quality of life we enjoy in Guernsey. In particular, we know from discussions with families that have recently relocated to the island that they really value their newfound work/life balance, minimal commute times and a true feeling of safety and security.

Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand and The UAE, also placed in the top 5 this year, which are some pretty big names to stand beside, and we are immensely proud of our Island for offering such a warm and welcoming home from home!
